Manila, Philippines—Business media brand, Homegrown Media Inc., held a unique conference to honor the Filipina in business. The conference, held at the Ayala Museum on March 15, 2014 at 1pm featured renowned Filipina personalities of all backgrounds.

Talks on passion, caring about your physical and emotional well being, leading a balanced life, and what it takes to be a modern day entrepreneur were given by Rosario Herrera, Dona Tumacder-Esteban, and Gang Badoy respectively. Jim Paredes also spoke about the strength of women from a male perspective.

The conference, which followed the theme Inspiring Change, came in time for international women’s month. It was Homegrown Media’s fifth major Manila-based event, and first event to be streamed live via the Homegrown.ph website. It was made open to the public, both in Manila and online. The event was also the launch of a new women’s section on the Homegrown.ph website, Pinay Power.
